Axicons (konische Linsen) sind dafür bekannt, Gauß-Strahlenbündel im Nahbereich zu nichtbeugenden Bessel-Strahlen und zu einem ringförmigen Strahlenbündel im Fernbereich zu transformieren. Meistens werden sie zusammen mit anderen Linsenarten verwendet. 4Lasers bietet plankonvexe und plankonkave Formen dieser konischen Linsen an. Diese Linsen haben entweder eine konvexe Oberfläche oder aber eine konkav konische Fläche, während die andere Seite in beiden Fällen eben ist.
