LBO or Lithium triborate (LiB3O5) is famous for the temperature controllable wide type I and II non-critical phase-matching (NCPM) range. Due to low angular sensitivity and small walk-off beam quality requirements are highly reduced compared to BBO nonlinear crystal. Wide transparency window, broad phase-matching range and moderately high nonlinear coefficient paired with previous mentioned perks makes it excellent choice for high-power frequency conversion of Nd-doped, Ti:Sapphire, CW lasers and high-power, widely tuned OPOs/OPAs.
