Non-polarizing beamsplitters are designed to split or combine laser beams while maintaining the polarization state of transmitted and reflected light. Unlike conventional beamsplitters, which introduce polarization-dependent losses and phase shifts, these advanced optics utilize specially engineered dielectric thin-film coatings to achieve a nearly constant reflectance-to-transmittance ratio across S- and P-polarizations. This ensures minimal beam distortion, making them ideal for high-precision interferometry, laser diagnostics, and polarization-sensitive applications.
